Chief Marketing Officer
Donor Relations Group
Ashley Groneck is the Chief Marketing Officer at DRG, where she leads all digital sales, marketing, and communications strategy, website design and management, and partnership development.
Since joining DRG in 2014, Ashley has also served as a project specialist, supporting a wide range of clients including universities, medical centers, and community foundations.

A passionate storyteller and strategist, Ashley thrives at the intersection of creativity and impact. Her role allows her to blend her love for marketing and communications with a deep commitment to the nonprofit sector—a combination that fuels her drive to help organizations build more meaningful connections with donors.

Ashley’s journey with DRG began long before she joined the team. She discovered the power of DRG’s philosophy after hearing founder Lynne Wester speak at a conference. Inspired, she began applying DRG principles in her roles at Wofford College and later at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.

She began her career as Communications Coordinator for Alumni and Annual Giving at Wofford, where she led the college’s first-ever giving day campaign to record-breaking results and national recognition. Her success led to a role in Wofford’s admission office, where she oversaw the development of a new suite of marketing materials that helped shape the college’s voice and creative strategy moving forward.

At Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, Ashley served as a Senior Communications Specialist, where she wrote and managed impact reports, donor proposals, event collateral, and storytelling for donor publications. She also served as editor for the hospital’s donor magazine.

Ashley is a proud graduate of the University of Kentucky (go Cats!) and lives with her family in the Cincinnati area.
